Easter

We had a busy, but fun, Easter weekend. On Saturday evening we went out for pizza and bowling with my mom's side of the family. My mom was gracious enough to take Drew & Lauren back with her during the bowling segment. We tried to take them a couple of weeks ago and they tried to go everywhere they weren't supposed to, so this was much more enjoyable! On Sunday we were able to go to church with my parents in Pella and then my family came over for lunch and an Easter egg hunt. It was nice enough out that the kids could spend a lot of time playing outdoors, which is always a plus!:)

They got some jelly beans at church that they couldn't wait to eat, but I wouldn't let them have them until their Sunday clothes were off. Lauren kept giving hers to Luke and saying "open" the entire way home.

The twins finally crashed in the late afternoon. They were quite grumpy today though!:)

Signs of Spring

It has been so nice to be able to open the windows and enjoy playing outdoors. The first thing Drew & Lauren say every morning now is "outside?". We went to the park the other day and ate our lunch on the deck. I'm sure it will be the first of many times! Luke and Reagan have been begging to get the pool and sprinkler out, but we've held off on that....although it was warm enough. Luke also had his first baseball practice last night, so the busyness is upon us. We're excited for a fun Easter weekend. Enjoy yours!
